High Performance Water Based Epoxy Resin Coating
Estogard WA10e is a two component water based, epoxy floor coating system, which is applied in two coats to achieve an approximate total dry film thickness of 100 microns.
Estogard WA10e forms a matt, impervious finish which is hard and flexible with excellent adhesion to concrete and certain metal surfaces.
It is also recommended as a sealer coat to cementitious underlayment, as well as epoxy floor topping to provide a more decorative and easily cleaned surface.
It is suitable for use in floor and walls of warehouses, garages, light industrial and food processing areas, kitchen, laboratory and areas with light vehicular traffic.
Substrate shall be clean and free from oil, grease and other contaminants. Allow new concrete to cure for at least 28 days before application of primer. Preparation by captive blasting or diamond grinding is ideal for application of topping.
Existing expansion or movement joints should be followed through the topping.
Application of Estoprime WB primer will enhance the adhesion of the coating to the concrete slab.
The individual components of Estogard WA10e should be thoroughly stirred before the two are mixed together.
Thoroughly mix all Base and Hardener in a mixing vessel using a low speed drill and mixing paddle, until a consistence homogeneous mixture is achieved.
The mixed Estogard WA10e should be applied by using short hair roller. Ensure that the area is completely coated and that ‘ponding’ of the material does not occur.
Apply the second coat as soon as the first coat is initially dried.
Clean the tools, etc while the mortars are still uncured with water. Remove hardened material mechanically.
Estogard WA10e is not recommended to floor with rising damp problem or having a relative humidity of greater than 75% as measured in accordance with BS 8203.
